Hello Cupcake! Slatkin & Co. Frosted Cupcake Candle!

Mmmmmmmmmmmm Cupcakes! I loooooooooove cupcakes!!!  The best thing about this though is that it doesn't go to my hips! This amazing yummy smelling Frosted Cupcake candle by Slatkin & Co sold at Bath & Body Works is so wonderfully delightful and yummy smelling!  My sister purchased one of these yummy candles for me as a Christmas Present.  Needless to say, I burned that baby up so fast it would have made your head spin! I've since bought two more of these candles and just can't seem to get enough!  These candles have an amazing scent throw, no wimpy smelling candle! I personally loooove strong scented candles, I mean if you are going to burn a candle you better be able to smell it right?! Otherwise, hello, what's the point?  When I light this beauty up in my house it literally smells like I'm baking cupcakes, with a decadent fragrance combination of creamy buttercream frosting, sugar and fresh vanilla bean topped off with the essence of cake batter! Only downfall I see thus far is it makes me HUNGRY! lol  Oh well, at least my house smells yummy.

The candle is generously sized at 14.5 ounces, it includes three wicks for even burning and has a approximate burn time of 40-65 ounces. I think the container is very classy looking and I love the silver lid.  It retails for 19.50, which is a good deal.  However, if anybody knows me well enough they know I NEVER pay full price for anything! I ALWAYS have a coupon!  Last time I purchased this yummy candle I got two for the price of one! Oh yeah!  So, if you love yummy smelling candles I highly recommend this sweetie! Happy candle burning!

Paper Flower Tutorial - Intimate Weddings

Shake your pom, pom, shake your pom, pom.  Well, these aren't your typical pom, poms. These are adorable little pom, poms made out of.......drum roll please......cupcake liners.  Okay, okay, maybe their not pom, poms at all, they actually remind me of a carnation flower.  I stumbled across this FABulous tutorial by Intimate Weddings on how to make flowers out of cupcake liners! Genius! I have like a trillion of these little bad boys! Yes, I'm addicting to purchasing cupcake liners, so sue me! I just love everything about them!  They are like eye candy to me! So, needless to say, I do have alot of these little beauties.

I thought I would give this tutorial a whirl, it looked easy enough! I'm all about easy! You can view the tutorial here.  Since I have already had the cupcake liners all I needed to complete this little sweet project was the pipe cleaners which I picked up for a whopping 0.77 for a pack of 25.  Cheap, easy & simple! Oh yes! This project took me a whopping 2 minutes to make.  Sooooo incredibly simple you won't believe it!  Checkout my little beauty below.  Pretty nice if I do say so myself!

The Idea Room - Snow Paint! - An Outdoor Snowcone!

 

I don't know about where you live, but where I live, it's been snowing A LOT. We've had WAY to many snow days and kids staying home. Quite frankly I'm ready for spring and summer! I've been ready for a while, that's no secret though.  If you have snow where you live and want a fun idea for you and your lil Sprinkles to partake in, read this blog post by The Idea Room, Snow Paint! Heart Cake Tutorial - I Am Baker

Are you tired of me posting about mushy Valentine's Day?! Sooooo sorry! I luv Valentines Day! Not so much the day, but everything that goes along with it, the colors, the sweets, you get my point right? I found the most amazing blog tutorial on a Valentines Day cake, in one word it is STUNNING!  I'm not much of a baker, I make some mean sweet soap, but when it comes to baking I can do the basics, after that don't have your expectations set to high or your bound to be disappointed! My First Cake Pop Making Experience!

Hello my little Sprinkles sweets! Everybody knows how much I love to whip up sweet bath and body treats.  Sometimes, and it’s very rare, I decide to whip up some sweet treats in the kitchen.  Mr. Sprinkle and I were invited to a Christmas Party, I was off work from my regular 8-5 job so I had some extra time over the holidays to whip up something for the party.  I wanted to try something new, so I scoured the internet and decided after some deliberation that I was going to try my hand at Cake Pops.  Sweet cake on a stick, I mean how can you go wrong with that?! HELLO! I found a FABulously sweet blog tutorial by The Sweets Bar on Cake Pops, you can visit it here, totally step by step (yes, that's what I need) and totally EASY! BINGO, I'm in!

After deciding what it was I was doing, the next decision was what flavor? Oh geez, the choices! My mind was spinning! I finally decided on Dark Chocolate cake with Vanilla frosting and topped them off with crushed peppermints (it's the holiday season you know).

I followed The Sweets Bar sweet instructions to a tee, I highly recommend these instructions for fool proof Cake Pops!   These Cake Pops are totally decadent and yummy!  I don't splurge on desserts too much but when I do I want them to be splurge worthy and these are definetely splurge worthy! Anybody that knows me knows that I have a sweet tooth, actually every tooth in my mouth is sweet, I'm pretty confident of it. So, trust me when I say something is rich, you better believe it! So, I'm saying it, these are rich! I could only eat one and believe me, that is saying something.  Truly delightful with a big tall glass of cold milk! Yum!  Check out my creation below.

My sweet thoughts on my first Cake Pop experience.  These are truly a delightful treat, time consuming and only something I would make for a special occasion.So, will I make them again? You betcha!  Speaking of special occasions, you know that Valentines Day is quickly approaching and of course that got me thinking back to these sweet Cake Pops.  Think how sweet these would be with a Red Velvet Cake Mix, Cream Cheese Frosting, dipped in vanilla almond bar and sprinkled with some Valentines Day sprinkles! I think my sweet co-workers would love them!

Australian Bamboo Grass	This creative fragrance begins with top notes of fresh lime, mint, and ozone; balanced with middle notes of French lavender, and well-rounded with a nice base note of white musk. You will be in heaven!

Peppermint Stick	The smell of pure peppermint sprinkled with sugar! Sweet!
Strawberries & Champagne	Luscious strawberries intermingled with a hint of grape topped off with nose tingling bubbly champagne.
Warm Vanilla Sugar	A delightful combination of brown sugar, sweet creamy vanilla with a soft hint of musk.
